Description Our retail client is looking for a Sales Operation Coordinator with dropship, inventory management, sales operation experience for a 40hr/wk role, on site 5 days/wk in Fremont. The role involves a variety of tasks related to order processing, dropship order management, inventory control, and managing e-commerce platforms. Responsibilities: Order Processing (ERP/EDI): + Process customer orders in ERP and/or EDI systems, ensuring accuracy in tracking inventory and shipment details. + Collaborate with teams to verify stock availability and secure necessary inventory for orders. + Invoice completed orders and provide tracking information to customers. Inventory Management: + Monitor inventory levels and update systems to reflect current stock status. + Coordinate with other team members to check stock availability and replenish inventory when needed. Product Setup & Reporting: + Assist with the setup of new products in systems. + Generate and analyze operational reports to ensure seamless workflows. Dropshipping Fulfillment: + Manage dropshipping operations, primarily fulfilling orders for Pottery Barn through EDI systems. + Oversee order fulfillment process, ensuring timely shipment and accurate data entry. Shopify Operations (20-30%): + Provide occasional support for Shopify-related tasks and processes. Marketing Copy & Product Descriptions: + Write compelling and accurate product descriptions for listings, including high-quality content for Pottery Barn (approximately 10 hours per month). + Ensure descriptions align with brand voice and enhance customer experience. Requirements + 2+ years of experience in sales operations or coordination. + Familiarity with eCommerce tools/platforms such as Shopify, Commerce Hub (now Rhythm), SPS Commerce, Vendor.net, Wayfair, and Houzz. + Strong English language and writing skills are essential. + Familiarity with ERP and EDI systems for order processing, inventory tracking, and invoicing. + Previous experience in inventory control or operational functions is highly desirable. + Basic understanding of dropshipping processes preferred. + Detail-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving skills. + Ability to run and interpret reports for operational efficiency.
