Key Responsibilities

  • Administer cutting-edge endocrinology care through comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of patients.
  • Oversee mid-level providers including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, ensuring quality care for adults.
  • Commit to regularly scheduled clinic hours and actively engage with patients.
  • Collaborate with medical education institutions in enriching clinical training programs.
  • Drive innovations in clinical quality assurance and develop diagnostic and treatment protocols.
  • Engage in patient education material development and review, tailoring content for clarity and impact.
  • Champion interdisciplinary planning for future clinical operations.
  • Participate actively in provider recruitment, retention, and overall clinical staff enhancement.
  • Contribute to research initiatives, providing expertise from planning to data analysis and publication.
  • Adhere to and promote the Performance Improvement Program, striving for continuous enhancement in service delivery.
  • Educate and advise patients on health, illness prevention, and ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • Medical Doctor with current Texas licensure.
  • Active DEA license.
  • BLS (CPR & AED) Certification.
  • Ability to meet Legacy Community Health’s EPIC proficiency standards.
  • Participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other required health plans.
