We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WCS Engineer to lead and support development efforts on WCSbased ecommerce platforms The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise Java development and a strong understanding of WCS subsystems along with experience in modern architectural patterns including microservices and cloudnative deployments

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable ecommerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce WCS
• Lead implementation and customization of WCS subsystems Catalog Order Member Promotions and Search
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business goals
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services
• Contribute to the migration and modernization of legacy WCS components into microservices architecture
• Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloudnative environments eg AWS Azure GCP
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers

Required Skills Experience

• Minimum 8 years of handson experience in IBM WCS development
• Strong proficiency in JavaJ2EE JSP Servlets and Spring Framework
• Indepth knowledge of WCS subsystems Catalog Order Member Promotions Search
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization Docker Kubernetes
• Exposure to cloudnative deployments and CICD pipelines
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with headless commerce or MACH architecture
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools Jenkins Git Terraform
• IBM WCS certification is a plus
