Job Title: Supplier Quality Specialist Pay Rate: $30.00-38.00/hour Location: Avon, IN 46123 Shift: 1st Shift (Full-time, Direct job with full benefits) #manufacturingjobs #qualityinspection #aerospace Job Summary: We are seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to support receiving, inventory, and quality assurance activities. This role will focus on inspection coordination, supplier engagement, and compliance verification to ensure components meet engineering specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supplier quality, technical documentation review, and problem-solving to drive efficient logistics and inventory operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review inspection packets containing drawings, concessions, engineering memorandums, and other supporting quality documents.
• Assess Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) components for conformance to prints, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Determine quality conformance and disposition of inspected GSE and PHS&T items, ensuring adherence to engineering and supplier standards.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality defects, providing necessary details for Quality Notifications and Concessions.
• Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GSE and PHS&T.
• Coordinate rework and return activities with suppliers and logistics partners to address non-conformances and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience in Supplier Quality, with skills in quality inspections, defect analysis, and supplier development & collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills, including experience presenting quality findings and reporting to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Familiarity with technical prints and tolerancing methods.
• Experience working in an aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
