Job Description and Duties

The Staff Services Analyst (SSA) is part of a team that provides business analysis and support services to the Record Management Branch. The SSA serves as a subject matter expert on the entire arrest and disposition lifecycle and assists on a broad range of governmental and managerial problems associated with maintaining the state criminal history repository. The SSA provides assistance on all analysis, training, outreach, and support services related to the branch and the processes, procedures, and practices associated with collecting, processing, maintaining, and storing criminal history information.

The SSA assists with performing and analyzing studies and surveys; drafts policies and procedures; and develops training materials for internal and external stakeholders. The SSA assists with assignments and special projects such as workload analysis, procedure and legal mandate review, legislative review, and administrative support.
