MEMCO is hiring ATL Airport-Badged Drywall Mechanics/Installers in Atlanta!

• Pay: $20 - $25/hr based on prior construction experience
• Benefits:  Limited Health Care Plan available after 30 days of employment
• Shift: 7-5pm; Monday-Friday

Job Overview :

MEMCO is hiring skilled Drywall Installers and Metal Framing Carpenters to work on commercial construction projects. Candidates must read blueprints, install drywall and metal framing systems, and ensure precise, level finishes. MUST have or obtain ATL Airport Security Badging (SIDA)!

Responsibilities :

• Install drywall, metal/wood studs, and ceiling systems per blueprints.
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall, framing, and trim with precision.
• Assemble headers, block-outs, and openings for doors, windows, and vents.
• Inspect and ensure all work is level, plumb, and meets fire/building codes.
• Install insulation, moisture barriers, flashing, and fire/sound caulking.
• Supervise small crews (if experienced).

Requirements :

• Must be able to obtain/maintain an Airport SIDA Badge (TSA background check required).
• Experience in drywall installation and metal/wood framing.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs., work on ladders/lifts, and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of fire-rated assemblies, building codes, and fall protection.
• Comfort working in varied weather conditions.
• OSHA safety compliance.

A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position .
