Calling all accessory visionaries.

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Accessory & Handbag Designer / Developer to lead bold, trend-forward design across our women’s (and occasional men’s) accessory collections. From handbags to hats, scarves, sunglasses, and seasonal capsules—this is your chance to drive the creative identity of Wantable’s brands SEAS , Interval , and other internal labels.

This role blends fashion artistry with executional excellence . You’ll concept and create standout accessories, manage the development process from sketch to sample, and work closely with domestic and international partners to bring innovative, consumer-relevant products to market.

What You’ll Do

• Design & Develop : Own the full lifecycle—from concept ideation through to final samples—across handbags and accessory categories.
  
  
• Build Smart Tech Packs : Create detailed construction specs, material callouts, and hardware guidelines that vendors can execute with precision.
  
  
• Trend Forward Thinking : Research market shifts and seasonal inspiration to keep collections relevant and elevated.
  
  
• Vendor Collaboration : Work directly with overseas and domestic factories to deliver premium samples—on time and in budget.
  
  
• Lead with Innovation : Champion the use of AI tools like generative sketching and predictive trend analysis to supercharge your creative process.
  
  
• Cross-Category Cohesion : Ensure alignment across all accessories through cohesive material, color, and hardware stories.
  
  
• Mentor & Collaborate : Support and guide assistant designers or freelancers while working hand-in-hand with Buying, PD, Tech, and Production teams.
  
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of accessory/handbag design & development experience (3+ years in a senior/lead role).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accessory or Fashion Design.
• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM systems, and 3D/CAD software.
• Demonstrated fluency in tech pack creation and international manufacturing (China, India, Southeast Asia).
• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted design tools and new technologies.
• Organized, proactive, and collaborative—you thrive in hybrid environments.
• Bonus points for Apple and Google Suite know-how.
