Seamstress/Tailor Specialist – Career Opportunity Starting This June | Houston, TX

Are you a skilled seamstress or alteration specialist ready for the next step in your career? We are hiring for a long-standing, respected client located near the University of Houston, just off I-45. If you have experience in embroidery, alterations, or operating specialized machinery, we invite you to join a team that values craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Position Highlights:

  • Pay : Up to $18.50/hr.
  • Schedule :
    • Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with one weekday off)
    • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    • Sunday: Off
  • Start Date : June 2025
  • Type : Temp-to-hire, offering a clear path to full-time employment and benefits.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate embroidery and heat press equipment to produce high-quality custom uniforms.
  • Ensure designs are aligned and stitched with precision.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot embroidery machines as needed.
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
  • Utilize MS Office to track and manage daily work.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • At least one year of experience in embroidery, alterations, or machine operation.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A team player with a proactive approach to work.
