Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Manager to join our team in Aurora, IL. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sanitation team to ensure effective cleaning and sanitation processes are in place.
• Develop and implement sanitation protocols in compliance with FDA and USDA regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to food safety and quality assurance standards.
• Oversee Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs to identify and mitigate food safety risks.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on sanitation practices and safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain Train the Trainer LOTO, Fall Protection, MEWP, & OSHA 10-Hour Certification.
• Adhere to FSMA, GMPs, SQF, BRC, GFSI guidelines
• Perform machine safety inspections and maintain records of sanitation activities.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and quality.
• Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people management skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) practices.
• Familiarity with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.
• In-depth understanding of FDA and USDA regulations.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification is required (30-Hour preferred)
• Forklift licensed with experience in operating forklifts safely.
• Ability to conduct machine safety inspections and maintain compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
