We're seeking a passionate RN to join our team as a Medical Case Manager, working from the comfort of your home in the Oklahoma City, OK area. This role offers the chance to connect with injured workers, facilitate their recovery journeys, and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals.
What You'll Do:
Provide medical case management services through in-person visits and telephonic communication with patients, physicians, healthcare providers, employers, and other involved parties.
Utilize your medical and nursing expertise to discuss treatment plans with physicians and explore alternative treatment options.
Evaluate patient treatment plans for appropriateness, medical necessity, and cost-effectiveness.
Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress.
Attend doctors', providers', home, and occasionally attorneys' visits.
Participate in hospital and long-term facility discharge planning conferences to ensure appropriate care and develop effective long-term care strategies.
Implement care plans, such as negotiating the delivery of durable medical equipment and nursing services.
Travel regularly within your assigned jurisdiction (up to approximately 60% of the work week/month) to meet with injured workers and provide on-site support.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
What You'll Bring:
Effective communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Experience as an RN Medical Case Manager is ideal, or a clinical background in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation is preferred.
Ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, healthcare providers, attorneys, advisors, clients, and coworkers.
Cost containment experience, such as in utilization review or managed care, is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including experience with MS Office (especially Excel).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure in Oklahoma.
Certification as a CCM, CIRS, or other case management certifications is a plus.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel within your assigned area.

Competitive Salary: $62,306 - $93,123 annually. Pay rates consider various factors, including location, skills, experience, and market conditions. Leveling adjustments may occur based on the interview process.
