**Introduction** **Your role and responsibilities** QA Test Developer, IBM Corporation, San Jose, CA: * Create/delete multiple network access list and attach it to a subnet and verify traffic over the network. * Utilize the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and ECMP tools to test the edge related functionalities and baseline features. * Write a test plan for networking features considering scale. * Run automation using existing infrastructure. * Test different networking features based on a test plan. * Identify software/hardware defects/bugs and properly document using JIRA. * Follow up with development team to address and verify the issue. * Understand customer topology and incorporate into testing. * Work with escalation team to understand if there exist any customer issue and incorporate into in-house testing. * Utilize static routes to configure with various sub features for VPN related use cases. * Write automated test cases using Python. * Perform provisioning of cloud using Terraform, Ansible, Python and APIs. * Run and develop automation test suites using Pytest infrastructure. * Monitor traffic using third party tools, open-source tools such Ixia, Spirent, iPerf, k6, fping. * Manage operating system in internal cloud platforms. * Utilize: Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), Ethernet VPN (EVPN), Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Firewalls, Public Cloud and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Linux. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Test Engineer, Network Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), Ethernet VPN (EVPN), Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Firewalls, Public Cloud and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Linux. $281788 to $289200 per year.
