KPMG is currently seeking a Product Designer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in user research to understand user needs, and translate findings into design considerations for Generative AI products
  • Support the design of intuitive interaction models for Generative AI, focusing on clarity, transparency, control, and usability, under senior guidance
  • Contribute to exploring and prototyping novel interaction paradigms like natural language interfaces and conversational User Interface (UI), with mentorship
  • Create low to mid-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to illustrate user flows in Generative AI features, and participate in design reviews
  • Aid in researching and defining best practices for prompt engineering User Experience (UX), including user-friendly interfaces for prompt crafting and AI output refinement

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of recent experience in Product Design, UX and UI Design, User Research with foundational understanding of user-centered design methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human-Centered Design (HCD), Product Design, UX Design, or a related field is preferred
  • Demonstrable interest and some experience in applying User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, ideally with an interest in complex product design and Generative AI
  • Some exposure to user research and usability testing methods
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Mural, and a portfolio or project examples showing design thinking and problem-solving
  • Developing communication and collaboration skills, with an interest in Agile environments; possess awareness of accessibility guidelines and best practices
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
