Polishing Technicians Needed - Columbia, SCPay: $17/hourSchedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM We're hiring two Polishing Technicians to join a well-established manufacturing company in Columbia, SC. This is a hands-on role in a production environment where you'll be responsible for polishing and finishing high-precision metal components that are used in critical, quality-sensitive applications. Welding experience is a strong plus and could lead to future growth opportunities within the company. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual and mechanical polishing to remove imperfections and achieve required surface finishesOperate grinding tools, buffers, and other finishing equipment safely and efficientlyInspect workpieces to ensure they meet detailed specifications, tolerances, and cosmetic standardsFollow blueprints, process documentation, and verbal instructionsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform routine maintenance and care of polishing equipment Qualifications: Previous experience in metal polishing or finishing preferredWelding experience is highly desirableProficient in the use of grinders, hand tools, and polishing machineryAbility to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipComfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive manufacturing settingAt least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentBasic math and measurement skills (use of calipers, micrometers, etc.) To Apply:Send your resume to megan.jefferson@trctalent.com for immediate consideration.
