IMMEDIATE HIRE :
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (PRN)(Contract, 10-20 Hours/Week).
Word Therapy - Lakewood Ranch, FL.

Word Therapy, a growing private speech, and occupational therapy practice in Lakewood Ranch, FL, is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contract basis (10-20 hours per week, with potential for more as our caseload grows).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations and individualized therapy to children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and other needs.
• Develop and implement fun, engaging, and evidence-based treatment plans.Work closely with parents and caregivers to provide education and home exercise strategies.
• Collaborate with speech therapists and other professionals to support children’s progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida.
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatrics .
• Knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor development, and early intervention techniques.
• Ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment for children.
