Live-In Nanny – Upper West Side (New York, NY)
Recently Widowed Mother Seeking Loving and Energetic Support

A warm and resilient mother on the Upper West Side is seeking a Live-In Nanny to help care for her 4-year-old child and provide occasional support with a newborn. The 4-year-old is in school full-time and will be in camp for the month of June. He will be home during July and August, and back to school in September. The newborn has a dedicated nanny through September, but daytime assistance will be appreciated.

This is a long-term, live-in position for someone who is not only energetic and dependable but also loving, affectionate, and ready to become a vital part of a household undergoing major transition. The mother has no other support system and is looking for someone extremely flexible, understanding, and open-hearted.

Responsibilities:

• Help get the toddler up, dressed, and ready for school

• School and camp drop-offs (and pick-ups as needed)

• Light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, dishes)

• Running light errands a few times per week

• Occasional daytime help with the newborn

• Light cooking (simple family meals or help with meal prep)

• Be available on certain holidays (paid time and a half)

• Emotionally supportive, especially during this time of transition

• Open-minded and not picky about duties

• Willing to adapt as the family’s needs evolve
