Description:
Summary: Seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to support our current Tier-1 events social lead with planning, execution, and optimization of social media strategy. This role will have a deeper focus on our T-1 third-party events. This individual will work cross-functionally with event managers, marketing teams, content creators, and designers to align social media efforts with the broader event strategy and ensure maximum engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute T-1 third-party events strategy end-to-end
- Includes: Channel management, internal/external enablement, stakeholder communications, reporting, and pre/during/post-event content plan
- Work closely with the SAP global events team and agencies to build assets and templates for broad use across social channels
- Be a strong advocate for social media best practices throughout event planning cycles concerning content ideation and curation
- Partner with peers in planning for social listening, moderation, reporting, regional editorial plans, employee advocacy, and paid media plans
- Work collaboratively with teams such as marketing, brand, content, PR, and influencers to align social strategy with event goals
- Provide general support and insights across the T-1 events portfolio, for both SAP-owned and third-party
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in social media, 1-3 years of event exposure (preferably in the B2B space)
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute under tight deadlines
- Ability to build relationships and influence across team boundaries
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills – copywriting experience a plus

Our client is looking for operationally driven Program Specialist to be a part of defining the future of marketing.
JOB DUTIES:
The Program Specialist is responsible for leading the implementation and management of Opal, our corporate planning and collaboration tool. Success in this role involves ensuring seamless adoption, providing robust support, and establishing governance best practices for Opal across the organization. This contractor position requires 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Operations
- Primary Support Contact: Serve as the go-to for all Opal-related inquiries and support
- User Engagement: Conduct discovery calls with prospective users to assess needs and align on objectives, and build demo boards to showcase Opal's capabilities prior to onboarding.
- Resource Maintenance: Manage and update the Opal SharePoint site, and create new resources to enhance user experience.
- Community Building: Host weekly office hours to provide ongoing support and facilitate knowledge sharing among users.
- Team Collaboration: Offer specialized support for major initiatives, assistance for key teams, and organize monthly Team Captain meetings to foster collaboration and share best practices.
Governance and Best Practices
- Request Management: Oversee the intake and processing of Opal-related requests, including managing the Opal Team Captain Board to prioritize and track initiatives.
- Tool Configuration: Implement and adjust platform configuration requests to align with governance standards and meet user needs.
- Policy Development: Establish and document governance best practices, maintaining an up-to-date Opal playbook to guide users and ensure consistency.
Opal Administration
- Training and Resource Development: Maintain and update Opal University, our training hub, and develop learning materials to facilitate user onboarding and continuous education.
- License and User Management: Oversee license allocations, facilitate the onboarding process, and manage user access to ensure compliance and optimal utilization.
Who You Are
- Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in program management, tool implementation, or operations within a corporate environment.
- Project Management Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communicator with a talent for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Minimum qualifications:

- Collaborator with the ability to build and grow strong cross-functional partnerships with internal teams and external partners
Preferred qualifications:

- Evaluation of current program assets & materials
- Update existing content and work with design agency or internal teams to create any additional material needed
