Ready to pour some magic into two of the most spectacular seasonal events in Scottsdale? Join the team behind the scenes at Pumpkin Fest at the Princess and Christmas at the Princess — where festive fun meets five-star service!

With over 250,000 visitors and national recognition from People Magazine, CNN, and more, these signature celebrations bring unforgettable experiences to life — and we’re looking for energetic, dependable Barbacks to help us deliver the cheer, one cocktail at a time.

Reporting to the General Manager, Pool Complex & Seasonal Events, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Display precise knowledge of all event activities and experience inclusions
  • Ensure the proper set up of all stations in the assigned outlet 
  • Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
  • Have knowledge of all menu items, contents and preparation methods
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Set up and striking of event space, prior and post – event
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Arizona Liquor Server Certification
  • Arizona Food Handlers Certification required
  • Previous point of sale system experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
