Job Description

RBD is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and contract negotiation. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple projects while ensuring accurate cost assessments and pricing strategies. The Estimating Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that all estimates align with project goals and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely estimates for construction projects.
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and Procore to create detailed cost analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to gather necessary information for estimating.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and constraints.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing.
• Implement cost control measures to monitor project expenses and maintain budget compliance.
• Train and mentor junior estimators, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Review and analyze bid proposals, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.
