Position Summary:

The Business Analyst – Accounts Receivable will leverage data analytics to enhance internal and external reporting, track departmental performance, and support process improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and collaborate with team members to align with organizational goals and ensure process consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to assess department performance
• Analyze AR aging reports and identify trends
• Develop standardized branch reporting for open AR
• Review customer data for anomalies and inconsistencies
• Provide OnBase support for AR functions
• Support escheatment process development and implementation
• Document AR processes and create user-friendly training materials
• Conduct report writing using Agility, OnBase, Excel, etc.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment intake accuracy and resolution efficiency
• Assist supervisors in developing performance standards using data insights
• Gather and analyze data to support process changes
• Translate data into process flows and training guides
• Identify specific business opportunities within the department
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA macros; experience with Access is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
• Experience with OnBase and Agility preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
