Come join the Financial Operations team at State Fund

The Financial Operations team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with the team to ensure timely and accurate tax and compliance reporting to various agencies and support the Accounts Payable (AP) unit in the setup and maintenance of suppliers’ information in Oracle.

Office location may be in San Francisco, Pleasanton or Sacramento.

In this role, you will :

· Ensure compliance and timely reporting of required tax forms (1099, Sales tax, etc.)

· Stay abreast on new legislations and policies that might impact the compliance and/or financial reporting functions, and working with the appropriate personnel/programs to implement them into State Fund's systems and/or processes

· Ensure suppliers’ profile are correctly setup, well maintained, and reviewed against the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) list

· Provide timely support and guidance to internal and external customers

Desired Qualifications

· At least 1 year tax compliance and reporting experience (1099s, Sales tax, etc.)

· Experience with Oracle ERP

· Accounts Payable experience

· Worker’s compensation insurance experience in the Finance type setting

· Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills

· Detail oriented and team player
